Event Update
Covid 19 - Irish Level 3 Restrictions
Tuesday, 6th October 2020
Dear Participants,
It is with absolute devastation that we email you to tell you that the Sportive scheduled for this weekend has now been postponed, a mere 4 days before the event was due to take place, due to Ireland moving to Level 3 restrictions as of 00:00am this morning.
We simply cannot deliver the event under these restrictions as events are not permitted and events are considered a health and safety risk to the public, and therefore we have no option but to postpone the event to a date in the future. As per our terms and conditions of sale, this date will be within six months of the original date.
The date we will be postponing the event to is 21st November 2020. All participants will automatically be deferred to the new date, and we hope that this gives sufficient time for the health crisis to stabilise once again, so we can hold a safe event for all. Should this new date not suit, we will issue a full credit for one calendar year from the 21st November that you can redeem for any 26extreme Event. Anyone who was deferred from the 2019 event will also be included in the automatic extended credit transfer. Should this not be satisfactory, and you wish to seek a refund, please do so by requesting it through your eventbrite log in portal.
There will no refunds available to those who have a deferred entry from 2019.
We are utterly crushed that this has happened so close to event day, given that we have already paid for 90% of the services that were to be rendered on the day. We understand that you will be as disappointed as we are in this instance, but look forward to welcoming as many of you all on the new event day, and we will get straight back to work securing all the dates and services that we promised you for this Saturday.
Yours,
Ian & Lucy Cumming
